Course Details
The Total Machine Safety summary seminar discusses machine-guarding requirements from a global standpoint. It discusses what global standards are applicable, the process requirements such as risk assessment, and touches upon system and component design and selection. While not delving into specific circuit design, the course provides an overview of the issues that need to be addressed and the pitfalls that must be avoided in machine guarding systems.
Total Machine Safety will cover topics such as:
- Standards
- Risk Assessment requirements
- Lockout/Energy Isolation
- Electrical and Fluid Power Safety devices and applications
- Overall machine safeguarding requirements and solutions
A thorough safety system doesn't end at the wire; it includes electrical, mechanical and user-related components. ROSS designed its Total Machine Safety course to address all of these issues. With TMS, you will learn how to resolve safety issues, address machine safeguarding and increase profits at the same time - a winning combination!
"Good course, a lot of useful information was covered"
-Diana Janke, Lincoln Electric
